    Where in Ontario you don't have to do any of that. I heard somewhere that the US import laws were alot more strict than ours so I'm not too sure if a '97 would be qualify to ship over, and yea, we don't even have the R34 yet (trust me, I'm playing a massive waiting game on that baby :p)

    The actual process of getting the car over here is easy in terms of purchasing and shipping, it's just actually getting it on the road once it's here that's the hard part.

    You would have to look into the import regulations for your country and state. I know it varies widely from state to state, and because there are so many states, it gets tricky. However, aside from that, it is possible. I myself am not sure what the import laws for the US are because I've never had to bring a car into the states (and I really don't prefer to as it's not really close for me to be dealing with the person) Take for instance up here though as an example. In Canada you can only import if the vehicle is 15 years or older, however in British Columbia, you have to add trailer-style side marker lights, change your head lights, horn, and put a right hand driver sticker on the back of your car to pass a DOT inspection.

    I read your posts about importing cars from Japan and I was curious if you’re still doing that and if you've had any problems getting them into the states? I'm researching now trying to find out if imported Supra's are like the R33 Skyline and the government is only allowing specific years into the states or worse like the R34 that isn't allowed legally all together. I've found a beautiful 97 T/T M/T in the UK, and a few in Japan, just haven't figured out how to get it into the states legally so I can drive it on the streets daily. Any information you could provide would be great. Thanks, Anthony
